Cet album est la bande-son jouée en direct durant la visite de l'exposition muséographique des Médusés de Gorgopolitis.

Comme une sorte de "Pompéi" moderne dans laquelle le public se retrouve dans un futur non daté ayant perdu la mémoire du passé de l’humanité, le voyageur du futur déambule librement à la découverte de chaque sculpture. Pendant sa visite, il entend des légendes sur le passé des hommes et des femmes de notre époque actuelle comme une sorte d'arrêt sur image, une invitation au voyage où la musique accompagne chacun de ses pas et adouci ses pensées…
